I've studied singing since I was 14. My friends had a band and I found that if I emulated others, I could live those same little moments of glory after a little concert. It may be a commonplace motivation, but nonetheless it allowed me to know this thing which has become my passion...music.
I have attended many courses on the technique of singing over the years and I've had brief experiences within different choruses. From the folkloristic one of the Alpini to gospel, both to test myself and to learn by listening to other singers so as to develop the harmonic aspect of my voice.
With the passing of time my passion for singing made me take a step into theater and it is there, at least I believe, that my singing maturity began to take shape.
Both the voice and the behavior, the approach to the study of the pieces, the humility, and that bit of professionalism, also for non-professionals, have been increasingly present in my way of approaching this passion.
I've always loved “warm” voices, from Bruce Springsteen, whom I'd love to meet, to Dave Matthews, from Stevie Wonder to Sting and many others. As a matter of fact, I love all musical genres, some more than others depending on the moment.
I feel a deep respect for gospel and, as a consequence, for soul, blues, etc. They have had a greater effect on my emotional side, with respect to other genres, to the extent that I have dug into the roots of the black movement and various cultures and was introduced to Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian dance-fight which, together with the typical songs, helps me perceive music through my body as well.
My greatest dream, naturally, is to sing...something which I already do...with more continuity, always participating in different projects with other artists, famous or not, to improve and maybe, why not, leaving an indelible sign in history like the great singers of our century.
